Just a quick post regarding the Two Hands Shiraz from yesterday. Had it again tonight with pepper coated NY strip and a salad with creamy peppercorn dressing. Fantastic.
The wine’s edges were softer, and the pepper notes complimented the food. Both wine and food were better together than alone.
Overnight the wine really improved. I think more years in the bottle or some time in a decanter really would have improved it yesterday.
