2007 Mauro Sebaste Nebbiolo d’Alba Parigi
Appellation: Nebbiolo d’Alba
Tasting Notes: 100% Nebbiolo. 14.5% ABV. Color is fairly light, I can see my fingers through the glass. Nose is big and jammy (which tends to turn me off), like red licorice candy; there’s some cedar and smoke. Bright red fruit attack, very dry, some wood; the jamminess hits on the back end and is actually kind of nice. A little thin, fairly acidic, so this would be quite food friendly. Fairly good, not great, but I’ll finish it.
