2009 Vina y Bodegas Sauvignon Blanc ‘Estacion’
Appellation: Central Valley, Chile
Tasting Notes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc. 13.5% ABV. Pale yellow color. I pick up melon and citrus, some red grapefruit on the nose. Very simple, but nice. More citrus and grapefruit, but there’s an underlying minerality that’s nice, and excellent acidity – almost too acidic, though. Mouth puckering. Steely finish. Decent warm day sipper, and would pair nicely with almost anything you’d be eating out on the deck on a Saturday afternoon.
